AAS along with the help of LLA ( Lake Lanier Association) in cooperation with the Army Corp Of Engineers is working on the removal of this abandon dock on Lake Lanier. AAS patrols this area every week and has been collecting & pile up the board that have broken away from the dock. The boards are a danger to people & wile life because they contain exposed nails and screws. AAS alone with out the help of LLA does not have the resources to remove the structure. SO LLA has offered to help in the removal of the structure. Thank you LLA. Hopefully everything will be able to be removed even though some of the dock structure is partly under water. May 2015
